STAFF BIOS
Patricia Schaeffer, Executive Director
Patricia Schaeffer is the founder and Executive Director of EEOIMPACT llc where she provides program services for its virtual EEO corporate network. In that capacity, Ms. Schaeffer works closely with organizations on a wide range of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action compliance issues.
Ms. Schaeffer has extensive experience working with corporations on issues related to equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, and workplace fairness. She has more than 20 years’ experience in senior human resource management and labor and employment law positions in the aerospace and chemical industries. Additionally, she spent the last decade in private consultancies and a non-profit employer association working with global corporations on employment discrimination and affirmative action issues.
Ms. Schaeffer’s private sector experience includes serving as Corporate Director of Regulatory Compliance with The Boeing Company where she was responsible for companywide affirmative action, equal employment, and the internal EEO/AA self-audit program. Prior to joining The Boeing Company, Ms. Schaeffer was an in-house labor and employment lawyer with the McDonnell Douglas Corporation in Southern California. In this role, she worked closely with clients on site affirmative action programs, responding to employment discrimination complaints and litigation, and on immigration matters, including Form I-9 internal audits and citizenship discrimination issues.
Prior to EEOIMPACT llc, Ms. Schaeffer served as a vice president at ORC Worldwide, an international human resources management consulting firm in its New York and Washington DC offices. In that capacity Ms. Schaeffer was the head of the firm’s Diversity/EEO/Employment Law Practice Area in the U.S. and the U.K. A frequent speaker on equal employment and global compliance and diversity issues, Ms. Schaeffer also led ORC’s Workforce Opportunity Network, a network of senior diversity, EEO, and affirmative action corporate practitioners, and its Employment Law & Litigation Group consisting of corporate employment counsel.
Most recently, Ms. Schaeffer served as the Executive Director for The Center for Corporate Equality, a non-profit employer association based in Washington D.C., and also provided program services to its corporate EEO, compensation and staffing members.
Ms. Schaeffer holds a B.S. in Social Sciences from Bowling Green State University and a Master’s Degree in Management from The Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University. She also holds a law degree from Southwestern School of Law in Los Angeles, California. Ms. Schaeffer is a member of the American Bar Association and its Labor and Employment Law Section’s EEO Committee and its Individual Rights and Responsibilities Section’s Civil Rights and Equal Opportunity Committee. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1992.
Ms. Schaeffer is involved in a number of volunteer organizations and was recently honored for her extraordinary service to the community.
Ronald Schaeffer, Director of Program Services
Ronald Schaeffer is Director of Program Services for EEOIMPACT llc and is responsible for supporting program services associated with its EEO corporate membership network, including financial administration and business development.
Mr. Schaeffer has extensive experience in human resources management, specializing in the application of human resources programs to improve strategic and operational effectiveness of the business. He worked nearly 30 years at Exxon (now ExxonMobil) in senior human resources management positions in its chemical and refining operations, at headquarters, and in R&D organizations. His experience included human resource responsibility for Exxon’s Latin American operations and as compensation and HRIS manager for Exxon Research & Engineering.
Before joining EEOIMPACT llc, Mr. Schaeffer worked over 10 years for ORC Worldwide, an international human resources management consulting firm, in New York and Washington D.C. In addition to general consulting, Mr. Schaeffer facilitated ORC’s Human Resources Solutions Network (HRSN), the Human Resources Information Technology Forum (HRIT), the Innovative Technology in Human Resources (ITHR) Forum, the Network for Senior HR Executives in Japanese Subsidiary companies (Japan Network), and the National Healthcare Policy Network (NHPN), all of which were composed of Fortune 500 companies, aimed at sharing the latest information and insights on managing the strategic aspects of these important HR areas.
Mr. Schaeffer has a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
Mr. Schaeffer holds several volunteer positions in the local community.
