EEOC Celebrates One Year Anniversary of Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009
The EEOC released a statement celebrating the one-year anniversary of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009. President Obama signed the bill into law on January 29, 2009. The EEOC noted that in the year since the Act took effect, some 4,800 charges were filed with the EEOC alleging wage discrimination.
